3-6 years
At our Montessori Primary Program, we're committed to providing your child with an extraordinary early education experience. Our passionate educators have crafted an environment where little ones aged 3 to 6 can explore, learn, and grow independently. We understand the unique needs of children in their formative years and aim to instill in them a lifelong passion for learning. Through hands-on activities and personalized guidance, your child will build essential life skills while developing a strong educational foundation tailored to their pace and interests.
Our TK and Kindergarten curriculum provide the foundation for a strong academic background in Math, Language, Geography, Culture, Science and Art. It allows the child to practice, refine and master his skills in reading and writing. He is introduced to the mathematical operations, countries and cultures of the world, geometric shapes, botany, design, and others. There are also opportunities to write compositions, do research or make a book as projects for the 5 year olds.
As the older students in the classroom, TK and Kinder students become leaders and role models for their younger classmates. They become more independent and take on the responsibility of caring for their environment. Teaching a friend or extending a helping hand becomes second nature.
Truly, a child’s last year in the Montessori Primary program is a culmination of all the academic experiences and social interactions that leads the child to pursue his passion and prepares him for further learning.
This forms the foundation of our program, guiding children in adapting to their environment. Practical Life activities instill a sense of order, logical thinking, attention to detail, concentration, and movement coordination, fostering self-control and independence.
Language is seamlessly woven into every aspect of our curriculum. It begins with conversations, delves into the exploration of sounds, and progresses to reading, writing, and the functional use of words.
Our Montessori materials are carefully designed to help children order, relate, classify, explore, and solidify impressions they've already formed. These materials assist children in experiencing differentiation within their five senses and lay the groundwork for future academic learning.
This area of exploration encompasses world geography, physical science, zoology, biology, botany, history, art, music studies, and physical education.
Dr. Maria Montessori's "hands-on" materials empower children to investigate, calculate, measure, imagine, and create. This journey leads them from concrete manipulation to abstract thought, shaping their mathematical capabilities.
